What we collect
When you give, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number or bank account number. Stripe shares with us your name, email, the amount you give, and the status of your gift so we can track donations and send you receipts and statements.
When you use the contact form, we store your name, email and message so we can reply.
Our site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes basic technical information (such as your IP address) to serve the site, block abuse and provide anonymous visitor counts. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To process your donation and send receipts and an annual giving statement.
- To respond to your messages.
- To keep required financial and tax records.
We do not sell, rent or trade donor information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers above (Stripe and Cloudflare) and as required by law.
Your choices
You can update or cancel a recurring gift at any time through the donor portal. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted (subject to our record-keeping duties), email info@helpinghumanstn.org.
