Cancelling a recurring gift

You can cancel at any time, no questions asked. Open the donor portal, sign in with the email you used to give, and choose cancel. Cancellation stops future payments immediately. You can also email info@helpinghumanstn.org and we will cancel it for you.

Changing your payment method or amount

Use the donor portal to update your card or bank account. To change the amount, cancel the current gift and start a new one, or email us and we will adjust it.

Refunds

Donations are generally not refundable because they are put to work quickly. If a gift was made by mistake, duplicated, or made without your authorization, contact us within 30 days at info@helpinghumanstn.org and we will refund it to the original payment method. Refunds take 5 to 10 business days to appear.

Bank (ACH) payments

Bank payments take about 4 business days to clear. If a payment is returned by your bank, Stripe will notify you by email and retry; no fee is charged by us.
